Los Angeles, CA – For almost five decades, the Social and Public Art Resource Center (SPARC) has led efforts to advocate for immigrant rights, promote artistic freedom, and support LGBTQ individuals, women, Indigenous peoples, and other historically marginalized groups. Through public art and murals, SPARC continues its mission of creating a future that honors and empowers silenced voices.

During this pivotal moment in American history, SPARC invited artists to respond to the 47th United States Presidential Election. The resulting works are showcased in the SPARC Activist Artist Outdoor Mural Exhibition in Los Angeles, including Teresa Greve Wolf, an ongoing public art initiative that brings community and creativity together.

This exhibition, titled WE ARE NOT DEFEATED, carries the message: “In the darkest times, the brilliance of the stars becomes visible.”

Teresa Greve Wolf, a Chilean American painter, is honored to have two of her works—Resilience in Bloom and Lifted Together—featured in the SPARC Activist Artist Outdoor Mural Exhibition in Los Angeles.

Currently on view at 685 Venice Blvd., Venice, CA 90291.
