Teresa Greve Wolf
Teresa Greve Wolf is a Latina painter based in the Midwest. Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, she immigrated to the United States over forty years ago with her husband, who had received a scholarship to study at the University of California, Berkeley. Before moving, Teresa studied painting at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Santiago. After settling in the Midwest, she continued to pursue her artistic practice with persistence—painting, competing, and exhibiting her work in galleries.
Teresa is recognized for her bold use of color and expressive brushstrokes. Her art reflects both her personal journey and a universal longing: the desire to belong. Inspired by the majestic mountains of Chile and the diverse landscapes of North America, her paintings weave together her two homelands. In exploring her own search for belonging, she discovered that many others share this feeling. Through her work, Teresa seeks to create connection, reminding us that belonging is a shared human experience.
